Seems a shame not to save some of the building materials and I’m guessing the only gain removing floor is weight but what a lot of work to reduce probably 5% as once you lay new flooring over no one cares what’s under

You probably want to keep that air gap in the floor. It will improve your insulation especially in the winter when the water is much cooler.
