I was looking forward to a Supergirl movie. Then they hired Milly Alcock and I was a tad worried. Then she appeared in Superman and I was more worried. Then the trailer dropped now I could not care less.<br><br>But Mamoa is Lobo for a split second so I have to watch it right? ........ right?

I honestly thought it some kind of AI joke first,, but it is actually real lol...

This made me think about the progression of storytelling. <br>The original supermans reflected the idea that the common man was trying to be a good man and was essentially good. Then came the conflicted super hero, wants to be good but has personal demons. Now our super heroes don&#39;t even want to be good.

Is she gonna get the crap kicked out of her all the way through and then lung-graped at the end like what happened to Superman?

Guys, its very closely based on the comic: Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow, which is an excellent comic. Who needs tropy superheroes punching things, seriously. The comic explores guilt and burden of loosing your entire planet and witness it, unlike Superman, who was just a baby, Kara was there and saw it all go down. What I can see from the the trailer, this is seems very comic accurate and the comic was a massive success and a refreshing way to view Kara. Again, the comic is great an well beloved.<br>As to the musical choices, I totally agree a 90s Grunge Rock vibe would be oh so fitting.

Overuse of music...Taika ruined the trend by pushing it in Thor&quot; Love &amp; Thunder. It was fine in the previous one.

This looks like it was written by a 40 something that works with 20 somethings to appeal to 14 year old girls.<br><br>Trying desperately to be edgy but actually tragic.
