I cannot believe how big the babies are now. They are almost fully grown. Jackie and Shadow are the best parents I have ever had the chance to witness. They have protected the nest and even their almost fully grown offspring continuously. So impressed on how these two wild animals have raised Sunny and Gismo . Congrats Jackie and Shadow your all most done in s few more weeks it will be an empty nest again it will be a sad day to see Sunny and Gismo fledge !

You could easily see how mad Shadow got. Every single feather on his body was sticking up he was that mad. I never knew that about birds. Thank you so much much for posting such an incredible video.

Man oh man, those hawks and/or ravens mean business. They couldn’t care less that they’re messing with eagles! But don’t mess with their eaglets.

Que hermosa familia, el año pasado no lograron sus huevitos, por las largas tormentas de nieve, ellos siguieron y este año fueron bendecidos en lograr dos de sus bebes sobrevivir y los cuidan con tanto amor.. Shadow y Jacky juntos han pasado adversidades y siempre se han apoyado el uno al otro.. han pasado grandes tormentas, y han comoartido sus alimentos, son un gran ejemplo de bobleza , amor y respeto

RT hawks are vicious and have no fear. They are incredibly fast and stealth. One flew past my head and grabbed my parrot off my shoulder. I did not hear, see, or feel anything even after my Grey parrot was gone. I fear for Sunny, Gizmo, Shadow and Jackie. I fear Gizmo and Shadow have not learned how to defend or fight back and actually don&#39;t know the true dangers they are in. RT hawks don&#39;t give up easily and this one will be back and possibly with other RT&#39;s. People underestimate the incredible power, stealth, determination, and sheer danger of RT hawks. I want them off the endangered species list so they can be hunted and their populations reduced. They are truly Apex predators and I couldn&#39;t imagine what a fight between an American bald eagle and RT would look like. Both Gizmo and Sunny are in incredible grave imminent danger. They better get to learning to fly and fight soon. I know personally how vicious these hawks are. My parrot lived but only because he fought back and bit the massive RT so hard and fast it made a shreik scream worse than death itself or anything any other bird is capable of, as it did not know I trained my parrot to be quick and fight hard and fast back. He still needed extensive surgery and I&#39;m glad I found an avian surgeon at UT Knoxville, which has the best vet school in the world and trains amazing avian surgeons. I am sure the resident surgeon won&#39;t forget my African Grey&#39;s story. Most get killed by apex predators and I dont know a single one that has successfully fought off a Red Tail Hawk. Staring down a hungry RT that missed its meal and personally interacting with one gives a true understanding of the meaning of Apex. Humans are not apex, but these hawks and eagles truly are. So much respect for these animals, but I don&#39;t care for RT&#39;s or Owls, which are incredible hunters and killers in the night. This one will be back for sure and will attack more viciously.

Can we attribute anything in particular to the increased, unprovoked aggressive strafing by the red tail hawks the last two days? Very combative and new to the season. Then the ravens went after Shadow 🦅. What is going on here? Both Jackie and Shadow were simply observing their territory and were minding their own business. Are the hawks nesting this month? Thank goodness our eagles are all right. They rule the Valley. They are the dominants in the area as the nesting pair. Long may they reign with their new eaglets Sunny ☀️ and Gizmo ❤😊

Sunny and Gizmo are probably thinking... Hmmm... Red-tailed hawk are Raven for dinner?
