Mat have your tech guy look at the crystal oscillators on that GFA board, most communication protocols are very timing sensitive, any mismatch in clock frequencies could have the cluster read abnormal data from the GFA. Just thought it might be that.

Mat, I think the reason the gallardo may have gone into limp mode is because when you have a single clutch automatic, I think you have to treat it like a manual so when you change gear just take your foot of the accelerator a bit. It should also make your clutch last longer.

If you want a manual car look for a dodge viper ain't no way there aren't any in the UK

Love the vid as always, but I HATE electrical gremlins and chasing them down turned my hair white! With newer cars it’s just not worth trying to fix it yourself and with older cars, it’s damn near impossible to get the parts. Car industry is out to get all the Rights to Repair guys with tech so complicated you can’t fix anything.
