$30K vs $100K Custom 350Z: 5-Year Update

4k for a custom exhaust is absolutely absurd.

5 years and I still love the Z and the crew who built them. So sad to see all the cool members donut lost.

Doing your research is far more important than cost. As seen here, some of the expensive stuff didn't last or hold up. I spent $2.8k on coilovers I could never get perfect, swapped to $1k coilovers while I was tweaking the others and I never went back. The cheaper ones just fit the car better, they had more reviews and miles, but I assumed more expensive meant more better. The cheaper ones weren't as adjustable, but that's because they were designed for the car and what most people wanted anyway. The more adjustability, the more headaches. Change one little thing and now your alignment is off, or your air/fuel ratio is off, etc. Bolt ons will get you 95% of the way there and easier.
