I certainly hope the tour bus company has good drivers and good insurance because they’re going to need it. For years, various members of my family, including myself, traveled back-and-forth from Reading to Eureka California on a bus line that had really cheap fares. This was also because they had little to no insurance. If anything had happened on board that bus we would be responsible for our own medical bills and I honestly don’t know why we thought that traveling with this line was a good idea. The same line was chartered for a trip to great America from Redding for a college student activity. I think the guardian angels were working overtime. I believe the company was later shuttered but I’m not sure. People just need to do a little more research. I’m not sure why the state of California even allowed redwood empire lines to operate without adequate insurance.
