6/6/2025Something that's always bothered me, and I don't know if this has been addressed... is the side wall far enough away for the car and the floor to rotate without hitting? I think you need to make a full size mock up of the DeLorean and the turn table.

6/6/2025I could be missing something but couldnt you do the turntable on like a outer ring gear similar to a flywheel with a motor to the side and have the ring gear ride on a type of roller system to keep it level top and bottom that way you could still be able to get the inspection system you want underneath the car because all the mechanical bits would be clear of that area?

6/6/2025What about 2 chain driven platform lifts to raise and lower the car independently?<br>1 roadside, 1 house side.<br><br>Then the roof could be raised in a similar way with another set once the car reaches a set height.<br><br>They could attach with 2 fingers each side orientated L L at the bottom for the car lift and opposite at the top<br><br>These would be quite flush with the walls, recessed into channels

6/6/2025just an idea probably won’t work but box within a box. outside box is the lid for the surface and the inner box is shorter that is the car lift that when reaches certain height lifts the larger box with the smaller box
