This movie was such a wasted opportunity. Considering it was just a "mystery of the week" story line after years of being off the air. Going to miss the original cast in the upcoming reboot.

"Vrach" is the Russian word for "doctor," written in Russian but using Latin letters. Given that the scene showed a two-headed dog, I suspect that served as the basis for the plot. Apparently, the plot will revolve around the work of the outstanding Soviet transplant surgeon Vladimir Demekhov, who in 1954 successfully performed the world’s first experiment in transplanting a second head—he attached the head, along with part of the torso and front paws, of a puppy to the neck of an adult dog. The animals responded to external stimuli independently of one another.

I remember this movie when it came out in 2008. It was the second X-Files movie made, and was a creepy standalone, "monster-of-the-week" movie, like an extended episode. Not one the fit into the alien/government conspiracy themes of the show. Guess this is a re-imagining of that movie.

the 1st show I was addicted to growing up. I had all the special collectors edition VHS and cards. Even had cast statues of Alien, smoking man and flukeman.

WORST RAILER IN HISTORY OF MANKIND. seriously, any ai or any school project could build up some tension without horrible sound effect abuse like idiots. its pathetic. somehow hope they wont ruin the series with this.
