The pain of an Achilles snap isn&#39;t that bad. But the recovery time sucks. Had a friend do it twice (each leg!) and he said both times it felt like someone kicked him in the heel... Not that bad. But the lengthy recovery was what was particularly bad (and post surgery pain was awful.)
